Mad at my mommy

Can you believe it. Mommy ignored me all morning. I was making cute faces at her and everything and she just ignored me! How did she manage? I don't know. Why was she ignoring me? She was sewing. She said it was for me and my crate but I would rather have had her pay attention to me. This is what she made.

Mommy was really happy. She said it matched the curtains. Whatever that means. I am not that impressed truthfully.

Well now that she is done she had better pay attention to me.

I am growing up so fast

Mommy, daddy and Hal all think I am such a handsome young man now. I couldn't agree more. Here I am in class last night. See how focused I am.

Mommy says I have my moments though when I act like a baby. She caught me the other day eating yogurt out of my puppy kong. You can kinda hear the slurpy noises. She said it sounds and looks like I am drinking from a baby bottle.

Lazy weekend

This weekend was great. Mommy went and ran errands all morning on Saturday and came back with a new collar for me and some super yummy treats called Solid Gold Beef Jerkey. Then mommy and daddy spent all the rest of the day hanging out with me (and Oscar, Felix and Chestnut too). We watched TV all day. I even got to sit on the "new" couch but don't tell gramma.

On Sunday, mommy did laundry and napped with me then later mommy's friends Tara and Kevin came over. The other "guy" (daddy and Kevin) hung out in the basement while I scored points with the ladies by watching girl movies (well...really I napped but don't tell mommy).

New Brothers

Mommy said I am too spoiled. She said I threw a fit yesterday when daddy went to walk cousin Chestnut without saying hi to me first. She took a video as evidence. I don't see me throwing a tantrum do you?

Since I am being a brat (so she says)she and daddy when and got me two brothers. Their names are Oscar and Felix. They are oscar fish.

I am not sure I am gonna like these brothers. They don't like they would be a lot of fun to play with.

Cousin Chestnut

Mommy and daddy are dog sitting cousin Chestnut for the next two weeks. This would be exciting 'cept I'm not allowed to play with her. Mommy said that she is old and tired. Daddy said Aunt Kerry adopted Chestnut from an animal shelter about 12 years ago. That makes her between 14-17 years old! Here is a picture of her.

She doesn't really move around a lot. I heard grampa say something bout arthritis and going blind. Daddy gated her off the living room because he said I was playing to rough with her. I am trying my best to play nice with her but sometimes I forget and want to box her. I will try though.

Mommy is crazy

That's it...mommy is officially crazy. I can't even take a nap without her taking pictures of me. She takes pictures all the time. I am surprised she hasn't take a picture of me trying to make a potty.

Mommy...STOP...I am trying to nap.

Oh well! Mommy entered me into her football pool. I love football. Actually, I love harrassing the referee. As you can tell by some of my previous posts. I can't wait. I hope I win. Mommy and daddy said they would buy me a bunch of bully sticks if I did.

The Grammas

Hi. Sorry I don't have any pictures today but I was too busy to take any. This weekend The "Grammas" came to visit. The grammas consist of mommy's mommy, mommy's mommy's twin sister, mommy's step aunt and mommy's gramma.

They came out from the city on Saturday. They brought mommy lots of stuff and I got lots of attention. They just LOVED me. I behaved because two of the grammas are puny little things (mommy's mom and her twin sister) and I kissed nice and didn't jump up too much. We spent a lot of time in the back yard and the great gramma fell asleep in the hammock. Mommy was afraid she would fall out and hurt herself.

Oh and then daddy's mommy and daddy came over for dinner. It's the first time that daddy's family met mommy's family. It was fun. We (actually they...cause I don't get people food) had dinner outside and then we (they) had dessert inside. While the ladies were having coffee and tea us males decided to watch the Met's game...course cause I hadn't had a nap I fell alseep...apparently so did grampa and daddy.

Mommy was so excited today. She did a little dance in her chair. She got pictures of me, from my third gramma, of when I was about 7-8 weeks old. She has never seen me so little. Here I am after gramma had my ears cropped and with Ziggy too.

Here I am practicing my show dog stand...I didn't know they were taking pictures.When I finally realized they were taking pictures I became embarrassed. The tape on my ears doesn't do anything for me.
Course then they had to get a close up. Lovely.

Going to class

Saturday mornings are usually great. I get up early make mommy and daddy play with me and then I take a nap all day long. Apparently, mommy had the idea to make this past Saturday different. First she wakes me up.

Then she doesn't share her coffee.

Then she takes me for a long drive....and we have to wait for about 5 mintues when we finally ge there.

Then....I have to have class!!!! Class...can you believe it! ON A SATURDAY!!!

My teacher's name is Hal and he is teaching me to be a show dog. I am not sure I want to be a show dog but I do get a lot of treats ...just for standing still and walking around. I LOVE treats.

N-E-Ways...Hal thinks that I will be smart enough to go to a show in Sept...I just need to work on not playing with other doggies until Mommy or Hal says its okay. That parts not too fun but hey...if I get treats I don't mind.

Wheww it's hot here.

It has been so hot and humid here lately that I don't want to do anything. I just want to lay down in the nice cool house and sleep.
Apparently daddy feels the same way. He was trying to get me to play with him and he fell asleep. I decided to make him feel special and use him as a pillow.

Toys

I am an only child....therefore, mommy spoils me something rotten. Here I am practicing for football season with my "Mean Kitty-Referee". You made a bad call ref...just for that I'll bite your bum.

Here is a few pictures of me and my snake. I just got him back yesterday after mommy preformed a double surgery on him. His inners were coming out. Aunt Joyce's fault...I'm serious.

I love my snake. He squeaks on both ends and one end also rattles.

It's been really hot here the past few days so here I am playing while trying to keep cool. I love that thingy daddy puts in the windows that makes a cold breeze.
